Changed from Regulus 2 to the brand spanking new Fauna Beta 1 theme.
Looks nice, more vibrant and stuff, though the big green bit under the title could do with some shrinking, the dang block is huge relatively.

Few bugs, the title being obscured is one of them and only 1 link [or category, not sure] showing up in the sidebar.

I’ve completed the preliminary item system and am ready to start doing preliminary trading. Simple cash and item exchanges should do for the time being, followed by processing to determine decay of items as the populations of the sectors eat them up :)

Got more progress done of the remake of Ayria. You can now harvest… and harvest. Got some neat planetary graphics done of it aswell but won’t publish them just yet ;)

Going to spend some time next working on system travel, then more economy, ship systems combat e.t.c though it’ll take a bit.

Ayria will be completely redone. It’ll no longer use the graphical type system it is as this would need more time then I currently have. It will soon be replaced with a similiar basis of play but the style will not be as intended.

You can now see other users in the game, though I’m using an inefficient method and, it’s really bad for the MySQL server. 52 queries! *faints*

Have decided to call it Ayria for now. Added a warp function, added a target and user sector to the little admin box there. Also, working on gathering resoures now and now my task is to figure out that most efficient item method. Seperate table with 1 row for each resource type per user, a field for each resource, a single field for resources using implode and explode? Who knows.

Improved the grass and unpassable tiles a bit. Still can’t figure out that gap in the tables.

Edit: Updated the pic to a more up to date one, added some placeholder boxes but not much extra code.

Another screenshot, this time not much is different graphically, though the very base, I mean VERY base vehicle appearance is in and a slight rewrite of tile display code.

Been putting more work into Codename Tomahawk recently and absolutely no work into TNG. Also, been playing a lot of FreeAllegiance lately. Free space shooter, very fun.

I recommend this plugin for all those who post to their blogs more then ocassionally.
