No copyright / patents (for the purposes of this argument / rant, they are usable interchangeably) laws whatsoever? What is this?
That would mean if an amateur inventor created something that every household would want and contracted [or did it their self] to manufacture the aforementioned product that a larger corporation with access to cheaper labour could undercut the inventor and they could do absolutely *nothing* about it.
Sure, current international copyright laws (let’s not go into DMCA / Software patents / Gene patents) allow copyrights far too long before they expire (between 15 to 25 should be the max) but to no have intellectual property at all is just ridiculous and is only spouted by the Grand Force of Sheeple of Ignorance + 4.
