I hope people don’t actually think it’ll make much of a difference. I mean, the leader can’t just go against the ideologies of a party whenever he feels. And because the Prime Minister doesn’t have veto powers he can’t block Liberal policies either so there will be only trivial changes under Costello.

Of course it’s all hyperbole and FUD. If you look at the net increase in interest rates since just before September 11 (when interest rates plummeted) the rise isn’t actually that much.

Also, if you look at this, which takes into account inflation the real interest rate hasn’t risen as much as the pre-inflation interest rate has.

For any crazy person still playing Fable… if your teleporters stop working after the first stage of the Hook Coast quest, it’s because you covered up for Lady Grey instead of exposing her. However, this bug can be fixed… just run to Lychfield graveyard and the bug will just stop and your teleporters will work again.

Hmmm, Rudd claimed that they were going to set up an emissions trading system and that the Liberal Party wouldn’t but according to this the Liberal Party is/is going to set up an emissions trading system.

Yes, I know there are lies on both sides, but this the one I jumped out at me (and Julia Gillard / Peter Garrett ignoring the Liberal’s green initiatives and calling them “climate change deniers”).
