And by evil I mean “not really a religion”.

Look at the comments here. There is a disproportionate amount of Pro-Scientology sentiment there and look at the makeup of most of the Pro comments. They’re appear to be written by someone with a good grasp of the written English language. This leads me to believe that these comments are just astroturfing on behalf of the Church of Scientology.

Also, on the internet, there tends to be an increased proportion of Athiests compared to the population at large and while there may be a higher proportion of Scientologists to the population at large, the fact that such a disproportionate amount of Pro-Scientology comments is very odd indeed.

Their desperate attempt to change sentiment towards them is just that, desperate. And while I don’t mean to be disrespectful to Islam (although it is likely a realistic view), Scientology probably carries as much positive sentiment in western world (in this case Australia, America) as Islam does… that is, not much at all.

So yeah, if this blog post or blog disappears then Scientology is evil (and therefore not a religion ). On a related topic how can you violate the trademark of the religion?

In most cases, the Fruit and Veg departments of Woolworths don’t make a profit. WHAT’S THAT YOU SAY? Big evil business wouldn’t do something like that and lose money? Oh no! Well Mr. I believe everything the Labor Party and Today Tonight spout out… the fact is without a Fruit and Veg department the supermarkets would lose customers to other shops with fruit and veg shops because the F&V departments are designed to draw customers in and then they will spend money in other more profitable departments.

EVERYTHING YOU BELIEVE IS WRONG. They aren’t price gouging you, there isn’t any ridiculous conspiracy… the fact of the matter is the drought (and other climate issues), increasing world competition and inflation are pushing prices up!

That legality of Cigarettes and Alcohol provides absolutely no credence to the Marujuana Legalisation movement. Don’t use it as a pro-factor in the legalisation debate. IT IS NOT A VALID POINT.

Don’t use it, at least not for another year (Christmas 2008!) as community support and documentation is very lacking.
